Making contact
I offer a free 15–20 minute phone or video call to address any questions you may have before booking an initial consultation. Please contact me using the form on this website, or via email, text, or voicemail at 07968596765. I will get back to you within 48 hours to arrange this free call.
An initial consultation is a full 50-minute session, offering sufficient time to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping to achieve, and how I might be able to help. Research strongly indicates that the quality of the relationship between therapist and client is the single most important factor in successful therapy outcomes. Because of this, it is a good idea to speak to more than one therapist before making your choice.
Confidentiality and boundaries
Our work together is confidential within legal and ethical limits and my practice is GDPR compliant.
Once we begin working together, we will establish an agreement that clearly outlines the nature of the sessions and the boundaries we will both observe — covering confidentiality, cancellations, timekeeping, costs, and a commitment to regular weekly sessions.
Sessions and fees
Typically, we meet at the same time each week. Sessions last 50 minutes, and the fee is £75 per session.
Please note that I charge for all missed appointments, except for planned holidays. We will discuss this in our first session.
Locations
I work at the New Road Psychotherapy Centre in central Brighton and at a therapy room in Fiveways. Both locations are well served by public transport. The room in Fiveways is wheelchair accessible. I also offer online therapy over video call.
Other information
I offer one-to-one therapy to adults (16+ years), either on a short-term or open-ended basis. My practice is LGBTQI+ affirmative, and I adhere to the UKCP Code of Ethics, ensuring therapy is conducted in a confidential and non-judgemental environment.
